Move a Question from One Session to Another

Sometimes when a session is finished, you may want to move unused questions to the next session. Squarecap makes it easy to move your questions from one session to the next, both before the session is started or after the session is finished.

Moving a question out of an unstarted session

In the session builder view, click on the pages icon at the top right, then click Move Question:

Select the course and session that you want to move your question to, then click Move. Alternately if you want to create a new session for your question, just click + New Session:

Moving a question out of a finished session

After you've finished your session:

1. Navigate to the finished session by clicking on the session name
2. Click on the question you want to move
3. Click on the gray gear next to the question
4. Select Move Question:

Select the course and session that you want to move your question to, then click Move. Alternately if you want to create a new session for your question, just click + New Session:

Note: If you move your question to a new session, the session will appear at the bottom of that course under "Untitled Session—MM DD, YYYY" with MM DD, YYYY as the current date.
