Dropping the Lowest Grades for Each Student

Squarecap allows you to configure a number of lowest grades to automatically drop for each student. This may be useful in situations where you want to allow students to miss some number of classes, or if any technical difficulties arise with students in class throughout the semester.

To configure the number of grades you'd like to drop for each student:

1. Click Settings at the top right
2. Click Session Settings
3. At the bottom of the Session Settings dialog, set the number of scores you'd like to ignore:

If the number of scores to ignore is greater than the number of overall sessions that you've run so far, Squarecap will ignore all but the highest score for each student.

This setting will affect cumulative scores—such as single-column grade upload or cumulative downloads—but will not take effect if you are uploading each session to your LMS individually.
