After a Squarecap session is finished, you can edit, ignore, or delete questions from that session by:
- Clicking on the session title to view the finished session
- Clicking on the tab for the question you want to edit (on the left-hand side)
- Clicking on the gear icon within that tab
Please note that if you've already uploaded grades to your learning management system, you'll have to upload grades again after making any grade-changing edits.
Editing a Question
Click Edit Question in the gear menu to edit a question:
You can edit any question content, point values, or correct answers. You cannot change the question type after it has been finished.
After you have finished editing, make sure you click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to save your changes:
If you changed correct answers or point values, the session will be regraded once you click Save Changes.
Ignoring a Question
When a session is finished, Squarecap will automatically mark any unopened questions as Ignored. Marking a question as Ignored removes it from grading and prevents the question from being published to students.
You can also manually Ignore and Unignore questions by hitting Ignore or Unignore from the gear menu:
Deleting a Question
After a session has been finished, you can delete any finished questions by clicking Delete Question from the gear menu. Deleting a question will permanently remove the question from the session, and all responses associated with that question will be lost. If you'd like to retain the question for future use but don't want it in that session, you can move the question instead.
You can also move, copy, or delete multiple questions at once using the checkboxes to the left of the question.
